The premise of "KonoSuba" is about a character who is taken into another planet and forced on it to live, like that of other series such as "Sword Art Online" or "The Rising of the Shield Hero.
"KonoSuba" follows Kazuma Sato, a Japanese shut-in who meets the Goddess Aqua and is resurrected in an MMORPG-style environment following his tragic death. The ultimate purpose of Kazuma is to fight the Demon King. Still, it does not seem possible for his dysfunctional party to be teamed up with the missing Aqua, the obsessed explosion mage Meglumine, and a masochistic Darkness member of the party.
The anime series created two seasons and a film with other popular isekai characters—the chibi-style spinoff series. But we still await the konosuba season 3 release date, despite all this.
When Will Konosuba Season 3 Be Released?
Konosuba Season 3 has yet to get formal confirmation. In a new season of the animation series, the fans were interested in a 2019 Reddit AMA by the Kadokawa producer Junichiro Tamura. Tamura's involvement was initially to promote and discuss "The Shield Hero Rising," but doubts arose over a Season 3 series with Kadokawa creating the first "KonoSuba" light novels. "KonoSuba Season 3 has a great chance if it's a good movie," said Tamura.
What Is The Number Of Seasons In Konosuba?
There are now two Konosuba seasons, produced in 2016 and 2017 by anime studio Deen. Each first and second season contained ten episodes, and each season added OVA.
The movie is canon and takes place immediately after the second season.
What Is Konosuba Season 3's Story Line?
There will not be an official narrative summary for KonoSuba Season 3. Still, if confirmed, we will be able to figure out another story specifics based on the light novels on which the series is based. So far, "KonoSuba" has stayed relatively faithful to the light novel stories. "KonoSuba's "anime" features many storage components to choose from, with 17 light novel series volumes.
The mentioned episode is probably inspired by Volume 6 of the light novel, where Kazuma meets The Crown because afterwards, his party's victories over the Demon King spread. However, this rendezvous with royalty ends in disaster, and Kazuma is isolated from his party for a time. Kazuma and Meglumine's blossoming love connection was also extensively featured in the film. As a result, this will probably be explored more in Season 3 of the show.
Is Konosuba Complete?
Because a new project was just revealed, the Konosuba anime is still unfinished. With volume 17, the Konosuba light novels came to an end in 2020. The Konosuba story ended on 1 May 2020 with volume 17 by Natsume Akatsuki in Japan.
